1. Scope
These terms govern vehicle rentals, chauffeur services, hotel bookings and tours arranged through SwissRide.
2. Eligibility (self-drive)
Self-drive rentals require the renter to meet the minimum age and minimum licence period of the selected vehicle, to hold a valid driving licence and, where applicable, an International Driving Permit or certified translation. A credit card in the renter's name is required for the deposit.
3. Deposit
A security deposit is held on the renter's card at collection and is not charged unless damage, fines or other costs arise. Chauffeur bookings require no deposit.
4. Prices & VAT
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT at the statutory rate. The motorway vignette is included with vehicle rentals.
5. Cancellation

6. Liability
For self-drive rentals the renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. For chauffeur services the operator carries responsibility. Statutory liability provisions apply.
